Damian Sage, Founder
Damian is 11 years old and is a 6th grader at Walkerton Elementary School. He is our "Spokesperson" and has been interviewed frequently by local television stations. Damian is an honor roll student and when he is not riding his bike, he's riding his 4-wheeler or playing video games with friends.
Chip Dean, President/Board Chair
Chip is the owner of Integrity Academy of Martial Arts in Plymouth and Knox, and also Dean's Auto Detail in Plymouth, IN. Chip has been on numerous local non-profit boards over the years.
Mark R. Sage, VP/Executive Director
Mark is Senior Managing Director of Wyndham Capital Group, LLC, Tampa, Florida. Wyndham Capital is a Middle Market Investment Banking Firm. Mark has served on several non-profit boards including The Humane Society of Pinellas County Florida and The Second Harvest Food Bank.
Cathy (Bottorff) Sage, Secretary/Treasurer
Cathy is President of Robert Sage Careers, LLC, an Executive Search Firm specializing in the Modular Structures Industry. The firm has been in operation since 1969. Cathy has served on non-profit boards including the Second Harvest Food Bank and Project Home-Again.
Daniel Brashere-Atkinson, Board Member
Daniel is an avid bicycle rider and race competitor. He is a SSG Retired, US Army.
Norma Brashere-Atkinson, Board Member
Norma is a Certified Cycling Instructor
Gene Reese - Board Member
Gene has been married to Marsha for 54 years and is retired from 23 exciting years as Athletic Director of Ancilla College. He has enjoyed serving or is currently serving on various boards: Koontz Lake Missionary Church and their Deacon's Board, Walkerton Town Council, Christian Food Pantry of Walkerton, Cultivate Food Rescue Board, and Tyner High School Alumni.
Mirna Dault - Board Member
Mirna retired Dec 31, 2020 after enjoying a 47-year career in computers. She has served on the boards of other non-profits such as Northern Indiana Quail Unlimited, and the Christian Community Food Pantry in Walkerton. Mirna has worked on securing grants to cover operating expenses for Heminger House, a Domestic Violence Shelter and Turkey Tracks, guided turkey hunting for terminal or handicapped hunters. She also enjoys gardening, sewing and leisure travel with her husband of 38 years, Mike.
Daniel Bowers - Board MemberDan is an Application Consultant with Rockwell Automation. He has been with the company for 17 years. Dan has a BS/MBA from Purdue University. He is also the current owner of a startup Real Estate Company, Hoosier Homestead Realty Solutions, which is in Koontz Lake, IN. Hoosier Homestead Realty’s purpose is to help members of the community that serve, buy/sell homes with reduced costs. Dan has a wife and two daughters, and resides in Koontz Lake, IN. He is a member of Parkside Community Church located in Argos and is becoming more active volunteering and serving those in need.
Joseph Choquette - Board Member
Joe is the owner and head instructor at River City Taekwondo Academy in Mishawaka, Indiana. He has been a student of taekwondo since 2016. He is affiliated with Integrity Martial Arts in Plymouth, Indiana. He has been a volunteer with Bikes for Kids since its inception through the martial arts school. It has been his honor to help with the bike giveaway events. Seeing the looks on the kid's faces as they receive a bike is priceless.
Ed Rodrigues - Board Member
Ed's innate passion is helping people. As a long time, active member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Michael Catholic Church in Plymouth, he's also the proud father of 4 children with his wife of 42 years. He is also a grandfather to 10 wonderful babies. He's also a dedicated member of LaVoz Unida that strives to enhance the lives of the local Hispanic community. LaVoz Unida's mission is to complete the illusive bridge that brings our worlds and cultures together. He is also the Managing Broker of R Home Real Estate in Plymouth, Indiana.
